Hi there! I’m Delphine Lee, an illustrator and a storyteller based in Washington DC area.
What really gets me going is creating stories that explore universal themes in everyday life and to break down complexities into smaller palatable bits through humor and sensitivity.
I have a weakness for underdogs who dream big and accomplish impossible feats. Adventures of any kind, and creatures with big personalities are main themes in my work. As a child, I drew way too many paper dolls and moved around a lot.
My path an an illustrator was not a straight one. I worked as a sweater designer in NYC for many years until my love for art and storytelling led me onto the path I am on today.
I am represented by Aliza Hoover at The CAT Agency.
